About me

Author – Speaker – Lecturer - Entrepreneur

I’m an Entertainment Executive with a global perspective and network who has worked across Europe and the United States. With over 15 years of experience in the entertainment and advertising industry, I’m specialised in creating content and strategies that build bridges between traditional TV and Gen Z.

Dubbed by the industry press as the TV Futurist, I write a monthly column for MIPBlog on the Future of Entertainment, speak regularly at international events on how to reach Gen Z and Gen Alpha, and teach social media strategy and multiplatform storytelling at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences in Austria.

In 2024, I founded social media agency Suncatcher Social to give traditional (TV) brands more digital visibility as well as co-founded IPXchange, a high-profile industry event for European independent TV producers.

I’m also on the Global Advisory Board of the Branded Content Marketing Association (BCMA) and contributed to their 20th anniversary book “Twenty Years, Another Branded Content Story” with an essay about “Luxury Brands in the Metaverse”.

HERSTORY

Prior to moving to Los Angeles on an extraordinary talent-visa, I was Head of Branded Entertainment for Europe’s first Social TV channel as well as for some of the most prestigious advertising agencies in Switzerland, including TBWA and Jung von Matt. I oversaw developing, selling, and producing Branded Entertainment for global brands such as McDonald’s, Credit Suisse, and Lipton Iced Tea. For my achievements in the Branded Entertainment sector and her innovative thinking regarding content for Gen Z, I was awarded ‘Thought Leader of the Year’ in 2018 by the leading Swiss marketing & communications magazine.

HERSTORY CONT'D

I was the Social Media Producer on some of the UK’s biggest TV brands such as Made in Chelsea (Channel 4), Downton Abbey (NBCU), and Who wants to be a Millionaire? (Sony). In this role, I also co-produced interactive formats such as Who wants to be a Twillionaire? and Mad on Chelsea.

I started my career in drama development for Germany’s leading daily drama producer UFA Serial Drama after being discovered at a ‘Writing for Daily Drama’ course at the Film and TV University in Babelsberg (Germany).

I’m a frequent speaker at international conferences, such as MIPCOM and Rio2C and judge several web series and interactive TV festivals, including the Interactive Emmys and the Rose d’Or Awards.
